Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Compassion, Coexistence Fundamental to Build United, Prosperous Iraqi Nation
From Erbil Governorate, His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, visited the Mosque of Sayyid Azeez Al-Naqshbandi and met with Dr. Sheikh Abdul Qadir Abdul Aziz Al-Barzanji and a gathering of those celebrating the Prophet's noble birthday, and H.E. congratulated those present on the anniversary of the birth of the Great Messenger, Mohammed (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family), pointing to the value of the Mohammedan message and its impact on the human condition, and noting that Islam, which began with limited numbers, today represents a quarter of humanity in terms of population, in fulfillment of the divine promise: "that He may make it prevail over all religion," and pointing to the historical relationship between the family of Al-Hakeem and our Kurdish people, affirming that this relationship is a legacy of forefathers and ancestors, handed down to sons and grandsons.
H.E. pointed to the years of shared struggle against dictatorship and the years of building the democratic experience, noting that his visit to Kurdistan is social in character, founded on love in shaping the Iraqi nation that we work for the elevation and welfare of.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem pointed to the economic crisis and the repercussions of the region's events on Iraq's situation, calling for national unity and the building of a federal Iraq whose people enjoy welfare and stability, and that it be a model of coexistence for all the peoples of the region.
