Sayyid Al-Hakeem Extends Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Founding 51st Anniversary Blessings
I extend my congratulations to the leadership of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, foremost among them brother Mr. Bafel Talabani, on the occasion of the fifty-first anniversary of the Union's founding.
On this occasion, I recall with great reverence the historic journey of the late founder, Mam Jalal Talabani, may Allah have mercy on him, who contributed to consolidating a national approach founded on pluralism and democracy.
I affirm that this anniversary is an important milestone in the journey of this venerable organization, which continues in its service to the homeland and its defense of the principles of freedom and justice, and its work alongside the various national forces to strengthen stability and consolidate the democratic experience in Iraq.
I ask Allah to bestow continued success upon the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and all national forces, and to grant them further progress for the good of the country and its people.
