Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Proper Diversity Management Strengthens Iraq's Standing, Reinforces World Communication Bridges
During his visit to the Chaldean Church, His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with His Beatitude Patriarch Mar Polus III Nona, extending his congratulations on the occasion of His Beatitude's designation as Patriarch of the Chaldean Church in Iraq and the world, and wishing him success in his duties in service of our people and our homeland, Iraq.
H.E. Sayyid Al-Hakeem affirmed that the Christian component is an authentic pillar of the Iraqi people and a qualitative addition to society through the enrichment it brings to Iraqi culture and its diversity, noting that diversity is a source of strength for Iraq and that its proper management transforms its components into bridges of communication with the peoples of the region and the world — thereby strengthening Iraq's standing and presence in the regional and international landscape.
H.E. renewed his call for the voluntary return of Christian brothers, affirming that Iraq enjoys security and stability, while at the same time commending the role of emigrant Iraqi competencies and their active contribution to supporting the country's development journey.
