Sayyid Al-Hakeem Urges Permanent Ceasefire, Regional Stability Strengthening Through Dialogue, Negotiations
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met this morning with Mr. Adil Abdul-Mahdi, former President of the Council of Ministers. The meeting featured a review of general developments, particularly the political ones, in Iraq and the region.
H.E. Sayyid Al-Hakeem explained that the current government faces significant challenges that necessitate working according to clear priorities, which in turn requires support from all parties.
H.E. also renewed his emphasis on the necessity of completing the ministerial cabinet with competent figures capable of managing their ministries in a manner befitting the challenges of the current phase.
On another front, H.E. held the countries of the region and the world responsible for pushing toward the success of the ongoing negotiations in the region and achieving a complete and permanent ceasefire in the war on the Islamic Republic of Iran.
