His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met this evening with His Excellency the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, to review the latest developments across Iraq’s political arena and the broader regional landscape.
The discussion stressed the urgency of finalizing the outstanding constitutional requirements related to the three presidencies and advancing the government formation process. His Eminence underscored the necessity of prioritizing the national interest through mutual concessions and mindful consideration of the challenges confronting Iraq. H.E. reaffirmed the importance of safeguarding the independence of Iraq’s sovereign decision-making and preventing any external interference, while also emphasizing that the unity and cohesion of the Coordination Framework remain fundamental to preserving national stability.
