    Sayyid Al-Hakeem from Persons With Disability Gathering, Baghdad: Will is Challenge Key, to Move Forward to Amend Persons With Disability to Support Their Rights

    At a gathering of persons with disabilities in Baghdad, His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, shared an iftar meal with attendees and extended congratulations on the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan.
    His Eminence described Ramadan as a sacred season of divine hospitality bestowed by Allah upon His servants, underscoring that determination is the driving force behind human progress and the means to overcome challenges—an understanding that reflects the deeper wisdom of fasting.
    H.E. stressed the importance of ensuring an active and effective role for persons with disabilities in addressing and monitoring the needs of their community, reaffirming H.E.’s steadfast support for them. H.E. further pledged to sponsor specialized workshops aimed at amending the Law on Persons with Disabilities, in coordination with relevant officials and the concerned parliamentary committee.
