Sayyid Al-Hakeem Meets MP Haider Al-Faili, Discusses Faili Component Reality, Legislative, Executive Files
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met this morning, January 26, 2026, with MP Haider Al-Faili, representative of the Faili quota in the Parliament, where the reality of the Faili component was discussed, along with the importance of settling a number of files related to it at both the executive and legislative levels.
His Eminence stated that the Faili component has been subjected to double injustice, once because of its ethnic identity and once because of its sectarian identity, affirming that it is an authentic and integral part of the Iraqi people and that it has played an important historical role in building the state and society.
H.E. also recalled the deeply rooted historical relationship between Al-Hakeem family and the Faili component, starting with the Supreme Religious Reference of Imam Al-Hakeem (may his soul be sanctified), followed by the Ambassador of the Supreme Religious Authority, Shaheed Al-Mihrab, and Aziz Al-Iraq (may Allah be pleased with them all), stressing the continuation of this path in supporting the legitimate rights of the Faili component and strengthening its national presence.
