Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives His Excellency Mr. Nouri Al-Maliki, Affirm Constitutional Timelines Adherence, Coordination Framework Unity
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, received this evening in His office the Head of the State of Law Coalition, His Excellency Mr. Nouri Al-Maliki, and discussed the current political developments in Iraq, particularly in light of the notable success of the parliamentary elections and the high level of public participation.
H.E. emphasized the necessity of respecting constitutional deadlines to complete the requirements of the three presidencies and move forward with forming the next government, underscoring the need to place the public interest above all other considerations to strengthen political stability and meet the aspirations of the Iraqi people.
The two sides also reaffirmed the cohesion of the Coordination Framework, describing it as a key foundation for maintaining political stability and reinforcing the democratic process in the country.
