Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Muhsin Al-Mandalawi, Stresses Constitutional Timelines, Coordination Framework Unity
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, received at His office in Baghdad on Wednesday evening, December 24, 2025, the Head of Al-Asas Coalition, Mr. Muhsin Al-Mandalawi. The meeting discussed developments in Iraq’s political landscape and the results of the recent parliamentary elections.
His Eminence stressed the necessity of adhering to constitutional timelines in finalizing decisions related to the three presidencies, highlighting the importance of agreement on visions, programs, and approaches, and of sharing the national responsibility in a manner that serves the country’s interests.
H.E. also underscored the importance of unity within the Coordination Framework, noting that the Framework’s performance in the previous phase, alongside other factors, contributed to achieving political, security, and social stability, and called for prioritizing the public interest over private interests.
