Sayyid Al-Hakeem Affirms Protecting Yazidi Component Importance, Right to Political Representation with Yazidi Prince
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met this morning, Sunday, December 14, 2025, at His office in Baghdad with Prince Hazim bin Tahseen Beg Saeed, Prince of the Yazidis in Iraq and worldwide. The discussion highlighted the importance of safeguarding the Yazidi component as a valuable pillar and a source of cultural richness for Iraqi society.
H.E. stressed the need to protect political representation for all components and to respect their constitutional rights as enshrined in the Iraqi Constitution, while also calling for the return of displaced persons, the reconstruction of cities, and concerted efforts to rebuild social cohesion by making use of the prevailing stability across the country.
