Sayyid Al-Hakeem Affirms Constitutional Timelines Adherence, Reinforce Stability, Turn Electoral Programs into Reality with Republic President
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received His Excellency President of the Republic Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid on Sunday evening, 30 November 2025.
His Eminence and the President discussed the political landscape and offered congratulations on the successful conclusion of the recent parliamentary elections, which carried positive messages affirming Iraqi society’s commitment to the democratic and electoral process and the peaceful transfer of power.
H.E. and the President stressed the importance of adhering to the constitutional timelines for selecting the three presidencies and forming the upcoming government cabinet, as well as the need to build on the progress achieved to strengthen stability and guide it toward a stage of lasting stability.
The discussion also underscored the importance of recognizing the scale of the challenges surrounding Iraq and called for adopting priorities based on systematic and realistic plans capable of meeting the aspirations of the Iraqi people and transforming electoral programs and promises into tangible outcomes that improve citizens’ lives.
