Sayyid Al-Hakeem: International Coalition’s Mission End Imposes New Responsibilities to Confront Terrorism

His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, received at his office in Baghdad a delegation from the “Justice League” organization, headed by Mr. Clive Stafford Smith and including Ms. Tam Stoyle, and Messrs. Mohammed Jambaz and Mahmoud Jambaz.
The meeting discussed the latest political developments in Iraq and the region, and the nature of the security challenges in the phase following the end of the mission of the International Coalition to Combat Terrorism.
H.E. stressed the importance of states assuming their responsibilities in prosecuting ISIS terrorist members in their home countries, warning that ISIS is a cancerous tumor whose danger can never be taken lightly, which requires adopting integrated programs to confront it at the security, intelligence, social, and intellectual levels.
