Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Supporting Employees, Farmers, Contractors Necessary to Sustain Economic Momentum
At the start of the visit to Babil Governorate, His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met a group of sheikhs and dignitaries of Al-Janabiyeen tribe and Babil Governorate at the guest house of Sheikh Kamil Taha Al-Janabi, recalling the history of the relationship between the family of Imam Al-Hakeem (may his soul be sanctified) and the tribal leaders, the historic milestones Iraq has passed through, and the stances of national leaders in prioritizing the public and national interest.
H.E. explained that Iraq faced major challenges and managed to overcome them, and that they are now a thing of the past, in addition to the near end of the International Coalition's mission in Iraq, the country's freedom from terrorism, and its ability to manage its own security file.
H.E. regarded the regular convening of the State Administration Coalition's meetings as evidence of political recovery, pointing out that these meetings have become a normal routine and an ordinary piece of news, after the holding of a meeting was itself considered a major achievement discussed in Iraqi and foreign circles.
H.E. pointed to the economic problem left by the escalation in the region and the resulting decline in oil production and exports, stressing support for employees, farmers, and contractors and affirming that these priorities are necessary to sustain the economic wheel, create job opportunities, and move service projects forward.
H.E. deemed it likely that the crisis in the region will end soon, as a result of the pressure it has placed on the global economy, noting that the economic challenge contributed to the designation of an economic figure to manage the country.
H.E. stressed the need to build a strong, productive economy by developing the sectors of agriculture, industry, tourism, investment, and modern technology, explaining that Babil Governorate is present in all of these files, and regarding human wealth and the Iraqi mind as the most important assets Iraq possesses.
H.E. called for the return of displaced persons to their areas and for resolving all outstanding problems, in a way that helps strengthen stability and consolidate the path of development in the country.
