Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Addressing Weapons Outside State Must Prioritize Iraqi Interest, Constitution, Law
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met at his office in Baghdad a delegation of the Coordinating Committee for National Dialogue headed by Mr. Raed Fahmi, where H.E. stressed the importance of cultural forums and dialogue platforms in supplying institutions with visions and solutions, pointing to the importance of communication between political civil forces and other civil forces, in line with the principle of complementarity, in a way that serves Iraq and the interests of its people.
H.E. explained the importance of addressing the issue of weapons outside the framework of the state, stressing reliance on dialogue and understanding as the way to resolve it, while praising the efforts and sacrifices of the factions in confronting terrorism, liberating the land, and restoring the state, and called for dealing with this issue in accordance with the Iraqi interest, the Iraqi Constitution, and the laws in force.
