Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Preserving Project, National Interest, Principle Steadfastness, Approach to Safeguard Iraq
As part of the activities of the Baghdad Diwan, His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance and Leader of Al-Hikma National Movement, met a group of the original brothers among the companions and loved ones of Shaheed Al-Mihrab and Aziz Al-Iraq (may their souls be sanctified), offering condolences on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyida Al-Zahra (PBUH) according to one narration, pointing to Sayyida Al-Zahra's support for the leadership of the Commander of the Faithful (PBUH) and her defense of the truth without shedding blood. H.E. explained that Al-Hikma National Movement relies on the approach of preserving the project and the national interest and remaining steadfast on principle, affirming that this approach is what preserved Iraq and brought us to this day, in which the majority governs with honor and dignity, in addition to the sacrifices of the mujahideen, their stand against dictatorship, and their efforts to build the new Iraq.
H.E. called for taking pride in the approach of Shaheed Al-Mihrab (may his soul be sanctified), that exceptional leader who confronted dictatorship and offered his family, brothers, and cousins as martyrs on the path to deliverance from dictatorship, as well as his down-to-earth character, his worship, his engagement with people and his work to serve them, along with his care for loyalists and loved ones and his communication with them.
H.E. pointed to the challenges facing Iraq, the most important being the economic challenge resulting from the decline in Iraqi oil production and exports, calling for facing this crisis and being patient with it and awaiting the developments that would end the escalation in the region, and renewed the call to address the issue of weapons outside the framework of the state through dialogue and understanding and by prioritizing the public interest over private interests.
H.E. stressed the importance of serving the citizen as the philosophy of Al-Hikma National Movement, describing the organization of the original brothers as the fathers of the project, and recalled Aziz Al-Iraq's (may his soul be sanctified) insistence on establishing a ministry for marshlands affairs, explaining that this led to serving the mujahideen of the marshes.
